Hi, my name is Sarah and I am a neurodivergent therapist with a background in psychology. I hold  Professional Diplomas in Psychotherapy and Hypnotherapy and am a ADHD Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP).  I am dedicated to helping individuals overcome trauma, anxiety, and depression through personalised care, compassion and experience.

My own experience of having ADHD led me to gain specific qualifications with regard to counselling and supporting others with ADHD and their families, regardless of whether they are officially-diagnosed (GP or Psychiatrist) or self-diagnosed.

I work in a pluralistic way, meaning that I have a wide range of theories and models to draw from in order to support you uniquely with your goals, including CBT, person-centred and psychodynamic theories to name a few.  I have an enhanced DBS for (adults and children) and am fully insured. 

I am also registered with, and abide by the Code of Ethics of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS) and the National Hypnotherapy Society (HS).

I am very down to earth and approachable.  I work with a calm, relaxed and supportive atmosphere in a beautiful rural location offering you space, privacy and empowerment to work through your issues at your own pace.  

I offer the choice of psychotherapy or hypnotherapy depending on what you need support with and am experienced in taking counselling outdoors and into nature where you can experience the physical and psychological benefits of feeling connected with your environment. 

I strongly believe we are evolved to be immersed in nature and studies show how we calm down, come out of fight or flight and increase the production of feel good hormones such as dopamine and serotonin when we are immersed in nature.
